Humabody® VH Platform

Humabody V_Hs are the smallest part of an antibody capable of specific antigen binding, about a tenth the size of a standard antibody. This small size enables superior tissue accumulation and penetration, which translates to better therapeutic index compared to conventional IgGs (Nessler et al, Cancer Research Paper). Crescendo’s Humabody V_Hs offer a range of delivery routes for administration such as IV, subcutaneous, topical, pulmonary, oral, and ocular.

Crescendo is able to mine a broad spectrum of fully human V_Hs with different binding characteristics and broad epitope coverage against virtually any target. V_H raised against different targets can be formatted with flexible linkers to generate multispecifc, multifunctional therapeutic molecules (Multibody^® V_H) with novel mechanisms of action that cannot be achieved with standard antibodies. Crescendo’s technology also enables modulation of half-life extension.
